Godlike Spectators
04:06
|
|||
Staple the wounds back together
Splint the limbs back in line
Now drag yourself across the shoulder & drink dirty water as if it were wine-
Indifferent facsimiles of flesh roll on
Blood starved insects break bread
Now take those hands that are no longer your own & crawl on charred rows of tread-
Shredded words all over the highway
Flap like car-hit sparrows
Strings of teeth hang from the powerlines, strange fumes in the air like burnt marrow-
Blank faced audience pressed hard against glass
Brainless gods as spectators
The ruined slug in the gutter, the kill on the road
Your body become traitor
Maybe if you centered yourself a little more?
Forced their hand & momentum to cease?
But the godlike spectators just keep on rolling while your whole being is ground to blood & grease-
nothing more than blood & grease
....and they just roll on and on.......))

Digital Intelligentsia
02:25
|
|||
Gnarled, shit-stained fingers execute a furious waltz across filthy tiles-
The Revered Scholar arrives at work in nothing but sock and tie-
A broken skull with hive mind-
Pumpkinhead-
A buzzing wasp nest-
A rending screech of metal crying out as the foetal giant collapses to rest-
cracked knuckles snap in line - righteous word -
oh so brilliant poetry and prose!
Dreams of "who will love me today?"
Never let the sleeping dogs lie-
Poke and prod til they bite -
Revel in your awesome wake-
Be strong in anonymity-
Be fearless in anonymity-
oh come teach us/ oh come school us/ oh come abuse us-
We are your loyal subjects & kneel at your Altar Of All-Knowledge.

The Inhuman Condition
05:09
|
|||
Concrete freaks prepare to mould clay
Manipulating structure but the spine won't stay straight up
Walk, or low down crawl on the floor
Maggot-like wriggle - heaven will not fall
The body as a vehicle, the mind as a tool
The eyes as a shattered window to the soul
Candlelit hallways lead to pitch black rooms
Fluorescent decay in stark white tombs
A ring of black soil around the coffin in your room
Flowers start to bloom on the surface of the moon
Petals rain down from a crack in the sky
You hide them in your pockets but you won't say why
The mouth of the moon opens ten mile wide
As immense pressure crushes in on every side
A ring of black soil around the coffin in your room
Flowers start to bloom on the surface of the moon

Wires
02:56
|
|||
You need to get the wires all out of your head
To starve the ones you insist on keeping fed
Distraction could never have been the key
From the constant flow, the screeching agony
We self-sabotage when we doubt our worth
To the rotting from the accident of birth
You keep it all, you're hiding it away
From the miserable, cold, harsh light of day
Wherever you pull back the skin of the world
You'll find beneath the scabbed surface not gold
Don't despair the crown is still within reach
Throw your hands & your heart in the air, beseech!
Heavy is the head
The stingers are poised to strike
All of the features alike
The clones are amassing in ranks
Your iron head drags behind you again

Fire an arrow right into the sun
Salt the earth beneath you just for fun
Inject the bleach oh yeah! straight into the vein
Do all the above & I'll do the same
Set the world on fire
Scream at the heavens, shout down the sky
Tear down the walls, gouge out your eyes
Set the world on fire
Now kids don't try this at home
Forget everything you were taught
Let me be your personal guide to an elevated transcendence
Gently remove all your skin
Run that boiling black acid bath
Turn the lights down low
Step in to that black acid bath
Drift away on blinding agony
Float freely now....
It is whispering at you
Or is that your body dissolving?
Is that your body reforming?
Step out of the bath & back into the skin
You're the puppet now, or had you always been?
